I have ?N?E - is it ANNE? KNEE? Maybe my 12 across (reprise) is wrong? And why?? It's my last clue and it's driving me crazy!!

Without the clue it could be anything

Think of a slang word meaning "extremely drunk" then follow the instructions in the last two words of the clue.
