Been on holiday and lost brain. Bottom left really stumping me...no-one else, mind! Anyway, a bit of help with 17a might kickstart progress..
Holding back present: sugary stuff with a very soft filling (12) ---D-C---I-G
very soft=pp? Holding back present-=won, in which case, definition =?
Any help gratefully accepted, and thank you in advance.
