Can anyone help me with 45across, please?

Unless I've really messed up the other clues I have R-A-D-T- and the only word I can find for this is RHABDITE, which doesn't seem to make any sense at all for the clue.

The only problem is that it messes up 46down for me. For that I have ARDESIA which is a coffee plant. I can't find a word at all to fit B-D-S-A, which it would become. Any ideas please?
(The clue is 'Coffee maker is in style, bachelor maintains')
