With all the excitement of Easter I seem to have lost crossword ability here:

1ac Right at sea (9)
1dn Patience game (9)

now here is where you'll laugh, i have ideas of the other surrounding clues but as yet not entered them as I have no idea for the above two clues.Hence why i havent typed possible included letters.

As ever, any help will be appreciated.

6 should be inconspicuous, but that doesn't seem to fit your letters.

and the other should be public-spirited

That was my fear, which means 8dn is nor perplex & anorexia 20ac is incorrect too.

flummox could be confuse. Do you have any letters for either?

8dn i now have to be starting with N, 5th letter L, without being crass, has me flummoxed myself:, this is based on 6ac as inconspicuous which is confirmed by all the other clues......
