Just as well I've got all weekend to solve this pig of a puzzle - the older Rev. Graham get, the more wily he becomes!

I've stared at this for about half an hour and only achieved 4 answers!!!!

In case it comforts you, Wendy, my start was slow, too, but "with a litle help from a certain friend" we managed it by midday in the end! More help btw on the OTHER forum this time. If you pose definite qq, I'll try to answer, tho' I have no copy of the double grid, only the clues here! Don't give up: it's fun! And Happy Easter from SW France: here at least it's not snowing! Till later....

The 10 letter anagrams help; solve one and search for anagrams to get another (though watch out for the 6 letters + 23 dn anagrams)

I've had great fun with this one and only have two solutions missing, both in B. For 11 across I've got G-T-A, and for 25 across A-S-T/OMEN.

Have I gone wrong somewhere? The only words I can think of are 'gutta' and 'asset', which don't seem to make any sense.

The "touch wood" one is an anagram giving a Latin expression I've never heard of; for the other, think of our own dear queen.

Oh, as in Saxe...? Thanks, Chris! (I wasn't expecting so quick an answer!)

I still can't see 25 across, partly because although I got the A answer at once, I don't know why, so I don't know where the B bit starts and I can't see your anagram. If it's 'bias' + 'women', then my 't' of the fruit is wrong, and I thought 'e necked her!
