I didn't think it was den because the unclued light that came off it was rivet I thought.

I then thought it might be dry- drey (a squirrels home without e)

Dja...I had the same answer as you, using the same logic. I didn't see how 'quiet' fitted in,though.

I thought quiet as in low key which is a synonym for dry but didn't completely like the clue

I too had Solent- the best I had was it is a channel between UK and IOW but it is not The Channel- again not completely happy with clue

I'm nowhere yet with the unclued lights, so can't comment! Still plodding on!
