Can anyone explain please!!
1. Together saw bill showing amount of work minister's house absorbs to run Ans Merganiser
2. Play high card before low - it's safe Ans Peter
3. Monkey starts to devour spiders in the trees Ans Tamarinds
4. Fighting force cutting policeman in two Ans Impi. Thanks for any help.

in, two = ii
impi= group of South African native warriors.

Tamarinds= large tropical trees

1 Not merganiser, but merganser, another name for sawbill. Minister's house = manse. Work = erg. Run = r.

Erg= unit of work, Manse= Church Minister’s House Merganser is a kind of duck with a bill which is serrated – did you spell your answer correctly?

A peter is meant to be underworld slang for a Safe – but I don’t see the card part

Peter is a name given in bridge to playing a large card before a small to indicate thatthe player holds two in the suit (or some other meaning, by partnership agreement). Slso a common slang for a safe (as in "peterman", a safebreaker)
