There was me thinking this was the easiest Saturday one I had seen, and I get stuck. Any assistance gratefully recieved.
1a) Shaft left cutting tool with blade (4) A-L-.
I'm stuck with the word AWL in my head, but I can't really spot the definition. Any thoughts?

Oh. Obvious..... I couldn't see past the word mine for shaft, some kind of hole.
Thank you. By the way, in my opinion, little pointers like this are much more suitsble than just putting the answer up.
Many thanks!
