The letters I have are S-R---H-E. Perhaps I've got one of the letters wrong, but I'm blowed if I can crack this. Any suggestions gratefully received.

one of those hair thingies (crunch - critical)

a scrunchie is one of those elasticated fabric rings which girls wrap around their hair to make a pony-tail - a step up from elastic bands (which, I believe, can damage the hair.)
