27 help = aid, work = op, so aidop bacwards; crack = try, restoration on plates (of meat - rhyming slang)

with the Podiatry one I can see the work over ('op' reversed) and restoration for plates could mean 'plates of meat=feet' in cockney rhyming slang but that doesn't explain the whole thing.

Have cracked most of bottom half, in this,for me, tricky puzzle.Nothing at top - any thoughts on 11a What's destroying their coral with no expectations of any comeback. (10)
