Hi all. I noticed Annej was also stuck with 69d diminish. I too think dwindles is the only word that fits. If this is the case it is a very bad clue as the tenses do not fit. I'd appreciate any other comments on the matter. Thanks all

I agree but you must remember that thus the Daily Record where "tenses" don't matter!
