Thread on AB said it was "easier" than usual so I've had a go, but am now stuck on final 2:
13a Sell ship's timber (4) ?A?E
8d Turkish drink, accepted tipple in Balkans RA?I? (I'm trying to fit RAKI in there somewhere but no luck!)
Grateful for any help!

Hi xword fan,

I think this is RAKI
Raki is the alcoholic aniseed drink from Turkey (like Greek Ouzo)
Rikia (alternative spelling Rakija) is a fermented alcoholic drink made from fruit juices in the Balkans.
'Accepted' gives you your A to make it the Balkan drink (tipple) RAKIA

The "A" may not be right - it may be one of the letters that has to change(preamble) so clue is ???E - sell ship's timber

I am completely flummoxed! "Sell ship's timber" (4). As N and T are clashes, what is the original answer to the clue, please? I think call and sell are share options but can't connect it with timber at all. Am just learning and am curious, have only ever completed two Listeners. One was numerical and one involved a quotation I stumbled on quite early.

Have a complted grid except for 22d for which I have the letters: c?ay?s. Also I have identified eight of the ten clashes, so I'm assuming that 22d yields another two. Any help with this clue please?
