Good afternoon, Kendo.
9ac. Adj meaning complicated, but if you do this to a story, you go into details. (Rhymes (kind of) with to go into steam.)
14ac. S + French for "shade" (sounds like old paint - burnt....)
15ac. Anagram of f-force, meaning a box.
13d. Toasted too much? CD outside what zoo would want pandas to do again.....

if 4d is ISABEL what is link to 6d? (this 4's the italian (5) )
Could 4d be IMAGER as in fancier and 6d be AMITY? The Italian for fancier is amatore I think.
Any other ideas?
