Fertiliser, I assume, is put round dinosaur (9)

because I have most of the letters :-

-G-A-O-O-

but I just can't "get" the clue.

It looks as tho` most people are finding this easy. Not me!! Pleas will someone put me out of my misery and give a clue to 20ac. That second three-letter word, --O is really puzzling me - can`t think of anything but Doctor Who !
