Tonight I had many adverts on this site and have seemed to cure it by using the new ADBLOCK plus.It is a free download and has cured the problem.I am using Google Chrome and so I do not know if it works for other ISP,s.
I had the original adblock installed and it was only today that it stopped working.

Adblock Plus works on Firefox too.

Does it work on the ads on the right & the bottom? You have to be very careful not to run your mouse over those, or it's entertainment time.

The advertising funds the site......

I agree that adverts fund this site...But that judder as the top advert updates the facebook, twitter line is really annoying me!
