I've completed the grid for this, got the ennobling instruction, "Change fifth row after twenty-four D," which I translate as "Change KERMITS after KISS." I assume this refers to changing fairy tale frogs into princes with a kiss, but that's as far as I've got. I don't know how to apply it to the clues, or which six to change. Can anyone help me out?

change KERMIT to PRINCE thus making 6 new words (downwards) e.g.1d whisKered changes to whisPered etc

Thanks very much, sudokulover. I looked at that, but was deflected by the fact that KERMITS covers seven clues, not six!
