Can anyone give me a clue for these 2 questions, please ?

The section is headed 'what comes next in the series'

42 Waterloo, Millennium, Hungerford, London, Blackfriars

44 Brehme, Dunga, Petit, Ronaldo, Grosso

Thanks

Thanks, I'd figured out they were Thames bridges. I cannot see the order. It's neither East to West nor West to East.

You are right - I've just looked it up. Not date of opening either; length, possibly?

Sorry, no ideas about the dingbats at all.

Can only think of a real grammatical howler to fit

and cannot believe that the setter would make such a mistake.
This one is going in with a lot of blanks, I think.

Could the Bridges have something to do with the order passed in the London Marathon ?

I don't know the route
