any advice on 67a spies? It is either peeks or peeps, both fit. I've put peeps, thinking of peephole and peeping tom as spying. But the doubts are there...

yes Wendy the clue is just spies. It's a pain when you have to decide 1 of 2 similar words

Yeah, it is a pain. Think I agree with your peeps as "peeks" is more like taking a quick look, but I wouldn't put money on it!

I had a peek/peep on the answerbank and they were indecisive. Same happened Saturday, both sleepy and sneezy fitted for one of snow white's dwarves. I think the Daily Record should sort their clues out! I shall take a punt on peeps then and hope for the best! Thanks Wendy
