The main x-word - no problem, but the jumbo !!
My age is against me - so many pop-related questions, I haven``t a hope ! M

I've just finished the main crossword.
But I fear I will have the same problem as Magworth with the Jumbo ! I suppose all these extra puzzles and supplements are the reason for the increase in price.
Keep warm and well everyone and best wishes to those dealing with problems.

Hi Magworth
I agree .. I have no chance with these pop
questions. I found the main x-word quite
easy to complete except that I cheated
by looking up 2d on the net.
My best wishes to all puzzler friends
with special thoughts for those who are
not so well at present.

I've almost finished the RT Jumbo and must say it's not difficult if you know your children's books, radio 4, weather forecast areas and old movies. I only had to cheat on 6 in google (the pop music)

Good morning all,

I finished this puzzle last night and didn't have any problems with it apart from the curious spelling of 2d.

Robwood, you want the anglicised version of Letizia [Ramolino], who was Napoleon's mother. This anglicised version contains a small stumbling block because there is a ligature of the 'a' and 'e' which I can't show you; however, I assure you'll understand when you put in the answer!

I hope everyone is keeping warm and, for those of you under the weather, it will soon be spring.

With best wishes,

Caravaggio

hi Robwood
I see caravaggio has helped you with Napoleon's mother.
The Jumbo is inside the RT (a supplement of puzzles)
Good luck

hi caravaggio
I bet it's cold in Cheshire. It's -1 and feels like -4 down here.
Cold hands, but warm heart ;)
