andyc, thanks stranger, had got it, more by luck than judgement, seems to be the norm these days.Had two options for 5d initially, confusing.

Ninian I just penned a big reply and lost it!
Hope this one is OK. I knew you'd get 19a) with the web reference. With regard to 5d) I think they call that a double definition. The word can mean both to harvest and a short cut, I've heard it referred to at haidressers.

I've been on the forum quite a bit, so no, I'm not a stranger, but there don't seem to be very many DM enquiries at present.

Had two versions of harvest,pare [anag reap] first, but Albert didn't like it. Seen you on forum, but DM does seem out of favour recently.
