Just reading the thread from John Doe and see your query about Seaman and Arsenal.

I have a copy of The Week and that clue starts with

Seaman of yore....
And not Seaman of york.... You're right to be confused.

Thanks for that - I thought something was wrong. I did a bit more digging after my last post on the subject to find that he was born in Rotherham and never played for York City which just made me curiouser and curiouser.
