Really stuck on today's DT. Any ideas?
1a (8) Stones incorporating Californian singer and NY players?
9a (8) Carol drinking wine that's awful
I've got no letters for either of these I'm afraid.
14a (4) Rubbish in bed -U--

1a. pitchers = baseball players ('pits' & 'Cher').
9a. shocking ('sing' & 'hock').

I suspect that 14ac is junk although I can't say exactly why. Another letter would confirm or otherwise.

14a ... a much better answer: bunk has the double meaning of a 'bed' (often used by children) and 'rubbish' (as in 'nonsense!').
