There is a variety of grape called Graisse which is also known as Gras, but this is pretty obscure.

Foie Gras = fatted liver of duck or goose, French speciality (I live where they make it, and confess to a liking for it, despite the cruelty involved)

Very long shot. Many Central African countries have a recipe Riz Gras (Fat Rice), which is flavoured rice, so may fit the "plant" theme.

...it can also apply to any dish using the fat meat e.g. bouillon (kind of soup)etc.

...and if it has to be vegetarian, the word also applies to fleshy, pulpy leaves & stems of plants, very fashionable with a leading cook in the Alps, for example
