The second one is KNACK

As puzzle number 1,000 it has a profusity of Ks and Ms.

The other one is (according to my Chambers Dictionary) ANGEKKOK which doesn't quite match the letters you gave.

I assume that the plethora of letter K's is something to do with the puzzle number of 1,000.

It's in the Shorter Oxford English Dictionary, but not in the Oxford Dictionary of English, spelt as ANGEKOK
