This puzzle starts with six constituents reading across below, but look extra close and you may see that one of them does not fit the bill.
The thing is, only five have a very definite link. So the puzzle has an "Odd One Out".
Your aim is to discard the unwanted brick in the wall and end up with five that are connected in a distinct way.
WHICH IS THE "ODD ONE OUT" - AND WHY?

I'm just off to get some food, back soon with a clue.
Oh! forgot to say - I've already given you a clue.

1) Quiz
2) Sudoku
3) Pink Floyd
4) Cryptic Clue
5) Times Crossword
6) Straight Answers

andyc,

Sorry mate, you fell for the red herring, that would have been far too easy.
Pink Floyd is one of the five that are linked and not the "odd one out"

Hiya trevor,

Pink Floyd being one of the five is a clue.
I will give you another though.
andyc was wrong with the reference to brick, that was a misdirection, however, there is another house building material that would come in very handy with solving the puzzle?

BTW, I will not give misdirection again, but there is still a clue in the first post (I wasn't telling fibs)

Clue.
4) Cryptic Clue is not the "Odd One Out"

Cryptic Clue could be argued in one respect by a real pedant, but it fits with the others very nicely (Theoretically)
Don't let that put you off, like I said, it would only be pointed out by a real nitpicker and don't really think you will notice what I mean. (i will explain when its solved)
And remember there is a clue in post 1, I really really wasn't misdirecting you.
