I like getting back to normal. Just completed my Wee Stinker, and now looking forward to the Radio Times tomorrow. Picked up another Catholic Herald prize this weekend, so feeling suitably smug.

I am assuming that you either did not resolve to give up your pipe this year,or did resolve to,but fell by the wayside.I come to this conclusion in that you have not changed your nom de plume.
Congratulations on yet another win (the 150th?).
I presume that you were successful in assisting one of your relatives to obtain the vacancy as crossword setter.

Hi, TJ. Not even successive Budget increases have caused me to consider ditching my pipe. I keep it in my pocket in case Mrs P tramps on it when she is dancing on the table.

The new compiler is on the Catholic Observer. No relation, I am happy to say, since the clues have been of the simplest standard (so far anyway).
