Black whole nuts are in Pavlova (9)

I'm sure the answer is Ballerina but I'm struggling with the 'nuts' bit - in fact it's driving me nuts !

Could anyone please explain ?

The "nuts" is the anagrind that indicates that you must form an anagram from "are in" to set alongside B and ALL.

tork ,why use "anagrind" and indicator and anagram in the same sentence?
"anagrind" is a made up word by crossword people that are too lazy to use anagram indicator.

Clearly, if I had too many words in the sentence I wasn't being lazy. Rather the reverse, eh?

torquemeda,I was not for one minute suggesting that you were lazy, just that anybody that uses the expression "anagrind" is being lazy. You just happened to use it with the explanation.
