Don't know if it helps but if you take alternate letters from:
unlock army plan, neat
you can get an anagram of campanula!

Thanks, it seems like a good idea but campanula is 9 letters and this is 7 and 8. Perhaps it's some variation on that.

Yes, I realised too late that the number of letters was wrong but it looked as though the method might lead to something!

Hi Jazzgirl, I think campanula is more known as a bellflower in these parts, which is no help either.
