A nice challenge if you have some spare time - obviously not as hard as a usual listener or I wouldn't have finished it!

Agreed, an excellent puzzle to ease us into the New Year - thank you Dipper !

Inspired by the numerous tips (easiest Listener ever, ideal for newcomers) I started on this horror nearly 3 hours ago & have at most 25% of the answers, and no idea of the horticultural title or author.Is it time to give up? Does Dipper have his own way of mystification? H E L P ! ! ! !

The title includes "gardening" words as does the suthor's name! Shall I email you some help?

Unfortunately, although I realised those two points, and despite intensive googling,I am absolutely stuck.If you still have my address, would very much appreciate direct assistance as a novice, so as not to spoil it for the others (are there others so foolish, or perhaps much more gifted??!!)

Is this a subscription puzzle or a freebie?

21,32,33a (plus the unclued one --- guessed)
