Hello everyone and a very happy and healthy new year. Have been offline for a while but am now on again. Computer has a funny knack of being unable to find wireless connection when it has been turned off thought. Have quickly looked at this week's RT but have only solved a couple of clues - thanks for the hint re the instrument. No double will be on again.

Hello old gal
I hope you are still doing well.
I've now finished RT3, so it's now back to Richard's MacMillan Quiz !
Take care

So glad to be back to normal Tuesdays.
I`m stuck on 4d: ?R?E?T?. I`ve thought it`s `cruelty` but can`t see the connection with `vineyard`. Help or hint appreciated! M.

Hi Magworth
Yes it is cruelty.
cru = French vineyard + let + Y (end of July)

Good evening all.
No difficulty this week ... some very good
clues.Magworth, cru is a French vineyard so
you have the correct solution.
8d brings to mind a very naughty RAF song
of the 1940s but totally out of place in
this refined forum!!!
With besr wishes,
N
