A lot more fun than 102...

Dizoz, the entered down words all require movement of 3,4 or 5 (connected)letters as per 11A - resultant entries are not real words.

I (believe) I've managed to sort out the all-important 11A.

Unfortunately, the only down answer I've got that fits with 11A (4D) has already had one removed to make 8 letters, and doesn't fit with 11A anyway. I could remove another three (different) letters to adjust it a la 11A, but then it would be only five letters.

Still, early days.

I've just realised - the second word in 11A may not mean removal!

dizoz.

I know what you mean. Perhaps they will let you sit out on the 16D & take deep breaths, to maintain the 14D of your 17D.

20D seems to break the mould though.

Hi dizoz. Are you in OZ? The Brits have gone to bed.

Lavatch writes wicked clues.
9A are teeth, not really "facial features".
Had "nostrils" there until I got 24A.
It's a reversed container, with a 4-letter name of a British actor, which sounds like a one-name American actress.

My bugaboos are 4D... Have a country that has the 4 crosses, but can't figure the word-play. Plus, don't see a letter group that can be moved re the theme. Might be totally wrong.

& 19D. Have A?Y?A? & no idea.
"having no zip" def? lethargic
Does zip mean nil or O?
"thus" = "so" or "sic"?
The rest, who knows.
