Please help. I am really stuck on these last 6.
1. Spinning game
2. Doubly wise about this place.
3. Fertilize constituency.
4. Reverse a hidden vertical passage.
5. East Yorkshire lad or lass.
6. Top of Britain so says Neil Oliver.

Many, many thanks.

Hi Tina.

A couple of ideas:

2. Doubly wise about this place. ... ? YATELEY ??
3. Fertilize constituency. ... ? MARLBOROUGH (marl can be used as fertilizer)

Thanks Jim C for Marlborough.
Could you please explain your thoughts for YATELEY.
(I am probably being very thick on this one.)

Hi Tina.

Not thick at all.

As indicated, I was doubtful about YATELEY but threw it in there because it may be one of the bigger town/cities with a 'y' around('about') it's name (i.e. is 'doubly wise').

I expect there are plenty of other places with two 'y's in their name; YATELEY just came to mind first, particularly as it begins and ends with a 'y'.

1. Spinning game ... ¿ TOPSHAM = (spinning)TOP + SHAM('to sham someone' » 'to game someone'; both to do with cheating) ?
