Evening all,

14a) Where one may hear old pianist that's regularly successful (2,1,4)
O -, A, - O - L.

I've put in 'On a roll' but not sure where the pianist comes into it. Maybe a pianist that sounds like On a roll?
Much appreciated if you could put me straight on this one

Cheers jazzgirl,
Just had a read of that, thanks

I remember my sister had a kind of music box when we were kids and she had sets of punched cards to slide in it to play different tunes, that was a similar thing then I think.

Well jazzgirl,

What a coincidence

I'm just watching QI on BBC2 presented by Stephen Fry, and they have just been talking about a Pianola with the self playing music on a roll.
