Two more to finish:
45A Write to prime minister, having one's say (8). I have ?e?n?r?h

49A Turning, rule line for mechanical part (4) ?a?l

1st one= pennorth (pen North/former prime minister)

Write is PEN and the Prime Minister in question is NORTH which gives PENNORTH (strictly it is PENN'ORTH which is a shortened version of "pennyworth" (as in "let's have my pennyworth")

The other one is LAW backwards which gives WAL with L makes WALL

Thanks. Never heard of the first one, but for the second I guessed WALL but the definition as a mechanical part reduced my confidence somewhat.
