Hi - first time user (be gentle with me!)

A couple of tricky ones (I think) in a quiz I've been asked to help with. All UK place names (many very obscure).

Whitewash danger without excessive batting (11 letters, begins with R)

Seafarer and worker in 12 (9 letters, begins with N).

In case it helps, the answer to 12 is Inchture.

Thanks Dot Dash Dot Dash. Quick work!

Maybe (but not convinced) Nymphayes for the other one? Anagram of Sea Nymph. But plus Y, and why worker in 12?
