Yes, NeilM, I agree with you. Had you noticed (in very small print) that this crossword was used in the Grand Final of the 2011 Times Crossword Competition. It was solved correctly by 18 of the 24 competitors within the alloted time. 16 of the 24 competitors solved all three puzzles within the one hour allowed.

That is impressive and certainly beats me!
