This one has me thwarted, could it be a welsh word, meaning costumier or slate splitting tool, or associated with national dress or butcher's tool for welsh lamb, or a well dressed Welsh celebrity, or even furniture or a mean person in rags? Flummoxed. Any ideas would be appreciated.
