Finished this, but with two wordplay questions. 18a: Poet's lost very little of Shakespeare's density (5) and 21d: The charge for French heralds is a major restraint (7) Assume the former is TYNES and have LEGIRON for latter. Also assume that density is the source of both the former and my bewilderment.

Aristophanes - 18a is actually TYNED I thinks which is 'lost' for Spenser. Tyne = timy for Shakespeare and 'd' is for density.

21d Le - Giron (heraldry term, French from of Gyron)

Sorry for the typos - TYNE is Shakespeare for TINY.

Thank you, cmk! I looked up le giron but didn't see the heraldry connection. At peace now.

Was able to gather that, cmk! By the way, do you think that Azed's been considerably easier lately?
