Have been left with this one:-
11 Ac - "Cleese top comic in shower of
stars" (9)
I have T-L-S-O-E and the only
word which is obvious is "TELESCOPE"
but cannot attribute this to the clue!

anagram of cleese top - you see a shower of stars if you look through it?

Thank you, sudokulover! Have been caught
out once or twice lately by cleverly
hidden anagrams and don't like to enter
an answer until I'm sure of it.

A Telescope "shows" you the stars ie a shower of stars rather than seeing a "shower" of stars
