Iv'e been looking for the word play in the last two all day, any help welcome

14d) Revolting peasant at first steals game (10)
- A - K - T - A - -.
I know that the peasants revolt was led by Wat Tyler and John Ball, but can only think of Basketball & Racketball, any ideas?
I can only make links with a Racketeer stealing money, but it's in the wrong tense

The last letter of the above answer is the first letter of the following answer.

28a) Separate storage facility (4) - - E -.

Cheers Phillip,

I see the Jacks coming first to mean Steals, which I like but can't see the rest of it pal, can you explain because it completely knocks out the John BALL - peasants revolt link.

Sorry Phillip,
my mistake with that one, I didn't know that he was linked with Ball and Tyler as a threesome of rebels. I didn't do quite enough research with that. I only knew the name Jack Straw as the recent politition.
I have truly learnt my lesson my friend.

Good night all and thanks again
