Hi toots,

Have you been coaxed over to the US of A with promises of a Hollywood contract re "cowgate"?

I hate it when any of the regulars go awol.

They're already running ads for it over here-a reality TV show! Jersey Spoor.

Mr A,

Methinks he may be hanging out with Hugh Heifer, or is that udderly ridiculous?

pastille, you're a sweetheart for caring! No problems but I just seem to have gravitated away from this site for some reason. Too much real-life stuff to do, maybe. If you can think of a way to connect privately, I'd be happy to update you (I do Facebook, but not Twitter!)

Relieved to hear you're still on the hoof. Best regards from transatlantic pastures.

Hi Bullfrog,

Glad to hear you are still with us...just.

Between you and Jolan, I was worried.

I am "on" face book, but have only visited twice in two years...don't really like it...but I should make an effort.(I keep getting nagged from friends)

Will think of a cunning plan.

Just call me Baldrick...

Because we're away in France, we printed some old crossies to amuse us when we feel it necessary. Today's, albeit an old one, offering from the Grauniad was:

"Insect keeps two lakes for fishy pond life" (8)

Answers in a plain brown envelope please!
