96ac could be 'nankeen'
103ac could be 'spatula'
106d could be 'street'
120ac could be 'Spode'

Hi Bryan,

It helps if you put a question mark for each missing letter. Then it is easier to see what you already have. Like this:

11A Adjust (8) ?O???A??

Oh, and the answer is MODERATE.

Thanks mike and john but none of those work unfortuantely however, i will certainly use ??? for missing letters from now on.

Actually having examined things more closely i think spatula and nankeen are right. Still need to crack the others though....sigh

I was about to say, surely Spatula is correct?

Also, I can't see, eg. -O---A-- when people use hyphens or underscores.

106) is urban road has 6 letter is the clue but only 5 in your letter configeration, whcih is ccorrect? or is street the correct answer as posted by mike b

Modulate, street and spatula are all correct. I only have one left to get now and that is 123A The best: I have ?E?A?E?T all your help really appreciated.

Sorry folks i just realized that the first E in that answer to 123A should be an R because the answer to the intersecting word is AMOUR not ADORE like i was thinking which makes sense because GREATEST now fits. What an idiot i can be lol.
