Did not do well today at all...

"Sailor meets Queen, top sailor getting over lapse" = aberration. You've got your Queen (ER) and two sailors (AB and TAR). But how does the whole work?

"Sacked school teacher admitted to having stopped working" = dismissed. All I'm seeing is 'Miss' for schoolteacher.

top sailor getting over = number(No) 1 tar backwards.

sacked=S, MISS=schoolteacher.
SMISS inside(admitted) DIED= stopped working.

all i can see is, school(s) teacher(miss) inside Died.

not happy with school(s), tho.
