I enjoyed this & I'm happy to confess that Google & reference books were used.
I know some of you think this is cheating & hats off to anyone who managed to do without but I'd be slightly sceptical. If you did, you're a better man than I am Gunga-Din.

I haven't berated or accused anyone...quite the opposite. I needed help to do it & that is hardly boasting.
All I was saying was that I enjoyed & I'm impressed by anyone who completed unaided.
Is that ok with you? I only accuse you of a complete lack of humour.

was there a joke in there? perhaps you are right about my humour bypass.
why not repost this on the existing Araucaria thread? maybe they will laugh at you.

Oh trevor, don't be so harsh on porr confused! I think I've only ever completed a couple of Arucarias crosswords in my life, so I for one am impressed!
