Also a Kentish town (7,6)

Struggling with this one grannie! Is this part of a quiz or a crossword? Is it likely to be quite literally a name shared by an island and a Kentish town or might there be some kind of cryptic unravelling to be done?

I thank you! I found a pretty exhaustive list of towns in Kent and started putting any 7 letter towns into Google followed by the word Island.

It looks a pretty impressive island, doesn't it? With a large central lagoon.
