I thought that we might try a new game- normally to be run on THURSDAY afternoons.
The idea is to set a cryptic clue for solution. The first correct solver (judged by the setter) then has to offer their clue and so on. Explanations may be offered and setter will confirm or explain.

I thought only one go per week to give others a chance.

30 min time limit per clue and then setter must explain and baton passes back to last setter.

Aim for 10 clues or 4.30 to end game.

As there have been no comments this may turn out to be a very damp squib.

If you give an answer remember you must be ready with your own clue. It doesn't matter how good or bad it is- the idea is for as many people as possible to have a go. When you've solved you are out.

This is a very easy clue to (I hope) get the ball rolling.

Just to clarify the rules- if a clue is not solved within 30 mins the setter gives solution and batton goes back to , in this case, trevor
