I'm stuggling with a local quiz. All answers begin with N and are UK place names
1, store fashion (8)
2, bridge partners in prison (6)
3, 9,5,what? (7)
4, Londoner's Northern frozen droplet (9)
5, Seafarer and worker in 12 (9)
Many thanks
Claire
Claire I am not sure that STOCKTON is the correct answer.
Did the instructions for the quiz stipulate all answers start with "N", or did you make this up in error?
oh Dear. The quiz I am doing has 53 answers . The initial letter of each answer spells will spell out a seasonal message. The message is 'And all the ships go sailing by on christmas day in the morning'The posers I posted where all the N's in the quiz bar one I managed to solve. Quite how is beyond me!
