Regarding conversation a few days back- saw this on TV last night.

Hi aristo- I've been trying to find 'thank you' in Wampanoag but my googling skills aren't up to it. Thanks for taking the trouble- I think the project is amazing.

Notice that the men all have beards now (American Indians are of course a beardless race)- yet another gift from us Europeans (so generous with our genetic material). Also note that the styrofoam Dunkin' Donuts cup on the meeting-room table is not a Wampanoag artifact. Beautiful language and culture.

Frayed knot-probably cos I don't think he wrote symphonies. Mooving on into the 20th hentury next week.
