CLUELESS 33

Clueless time yet again!

The idea is simply to compile a cryptic clue to a given word. The winner of the previous week’s competition sets the word to be clued and judges the entries. There is a one-day time-frame. The judge’s decision is final (reasons may or may not be given at the judge’s discretion).

It is customary for the judge to donate a virtual prize to the winner.

To be fair to others, please do not make any comments on entries until after the winning entry has been declared.

Multiple entries may be submitted and new competitors are particularly welcome. (Also ones who may have been awol for whatever reason.)

I actually struggled to pick a word this week, as I have so many favourites. I nearly went for two word entry…but was a bit worried I would be breaking from tradition.

So the word of the week is…pseudonyms (10)

Clues to be submitted before 17:30 BST tomorrow (Wed 9th November) and the winner will be announced soon after…well… maybe not soon.

Enjoy and Good Luck!

Not surprised that El Greco, for instance, used this.
