Stuck and confused. . . on 3 clues
(1) I see that someone has given the answer to 20d: 'Motto on one side of court' as LEGEND but I already have LEGEND as the answer to 2d: 'Large body of soldiers, say described by hero'. Can they both be right? Assuming they are I have the following but still can get the answers:
(2) 27A 'Mother may go after this clergyman'

(3) 12a 'A second artist brought back bouquet'
A _ N _ A

Reverend (as in 'reverend mother'?)
12 A. Aroma
